Jailed for Writing about Tantra Print
Written by Administrator

In spring of 1952, Samael Aun Weor was arrested and jailed in a Colombian prison, accused of "healing the ill" and writing The Perfect Matrimony. This book, published in 1950, was the first public exposure of the ancient secret knowledge of sex, also known as Tantra (Sanskrit), Alchemy, Daath (Hebrew), or Gnosis (Greek). This book explains in incredible detail how sacred sexuality is the highest and most powerful form of religious science and can be found in all the world's religions and mystical traditions. The potency of this knowledge outraged the religious powers of the day, and thus they had him incarcerated. You can learn more about his experiences in jail here: Samael Aun Weor in Jail.
